Proceed With Caution When Using Direct Heat

Ladies, “Heat Damage” is a big no no, but a common mistake. When attempting to achieve that straight, sleek, chic look we love, try detangling your hair with a denman brush first and then let your hair air dry or you can sit under a hooded dryer until your hair is about 85% dry. I like to call this process, “pre-drying”.  Apply a heat protectant or serum to your hair and then carefully blow dry, flat iron and style. By using the pre-drying method, you won’t have to use excessive direct heat ….. like that lethal blow dryer.
