When Is It Time For a Trim?

Do you have excessive shedding? Does the comb seem to snag when detangling your hair? Does your hair refuse to curl when styling it? Are the ends of your hair dry and brittle or do they appear to be thinner then the rest of your hair? If the answer is yes to any one of these questions, you may need a trim. Too often I hear traumatic stories about bad experiences when told by a professional #hairstylist that it’s time for a trim. And as a result we sometimes hold on to damaged hair just so it can appear longer ??‍♀️? But the truth is, we still need to have our hair trimmed at least once every 8-10 weeks to prevent those split ends from traveling up the hair shaft and causing unwanted breakage. Please know that the longer you wait to get that trim you need, you will increase your risk of that needed trim turning into, and looking more like a needed hair cut.
