Ever heard of “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”? Well this old phrase should definitely apply when purchasing hair products. Often times we’re drawn to the pretty bottles or the “smell good” products for our hair.  And some of us even believe the more expensive, designer products are best for our hair just because they cost more. However, these pretty shelf products should be put to the test before committing to them. Especially if they’re a little pricey. Try buying samples or the smallest tubes available for purchase before spending unnecessary coins just because the packaging is pretty. Not to mention most times the smell good products usually have tons of alcohol in them which kinda defeats the purpose of keeping our hair moisturized.
